- Susan,

The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) statistics indicate that this breed is very unlikely to have either hip or elbow dysplasia. Eye diseases are also unlikely. I've owned one or more Belgian since 1964.

It may look like German Shepherd. They are in the shepherd family. You're hard-working willing to please. - Necus,

You're dedicated hard-working. Willing to pleayes fierce when it comes to competitor. Great thinker of strategy and tactics. And most of all you're dedicated to their family no matter what

speechless - Waleed,

- Deepen,

i have one groenendael male,he is one of the best dog.

Highly intelligent - Miriam,

This dog constantly asks “why?”and whilst they are easily trained they will ignore instructions if they think they know better. They have an excellent relationship with humans and want to be with you and can get upset if you go out or leave them as they think their job is to be alongside you. Guarding can be problematic unless you have a good trainer. I would say that they are not for first time dog owners.
