Cockatoos are velcro birds - Leslie, North Carolina,

I have a greater sulphur crested cockatoo for 29 yrs. He is super friendly, his feathers are in perfect condition. Cockatoos are not for the faint of heart. Their calls can be heard for over a mile. The dust from them is not good for those with allergies. 'toos can live to be 70-80 yrs, so, make sure you have someone to take care of them when you no longer can.
