Rex History
Rex rabbits have hair that is velvet like and stands out against the body instead of lying flat. It is thought that this was caused by a recessive mutation seen in wild rabbits.
The Rex rabbit was first shown at an international rabbit show in Paris in 1924. Since 1925 it has been recognised as a standard breed across Europe.

Rex Rabbit - Jené,
I recently got my first Rex bunny. He’s a Mini Rex so the smaller version. He is the sweetest and most social bunny. He loves back rubs and lying close to me. I am now in love with this bunny breed!
