Water bowls are a must have in every rabbit hutch. Fresh, clean water should be provided to your rabbit’s on a daily basis, sometimes two or three times a day if the water gets dirty. Rabbits do get a significant supply of water from their diets, but you’ll still be surprised as to how much these little animals can drink.
The best rabbit water bowls are the ones that stand upright, and are gravity fed. You can use a standard water bowl, but these get dirty much faster and you may find yourself changing the water multiple times a day, for this reason gravity water bowls are the best option.
A water dispenser is the most practical way of keeping your rabbits hydrated
The bottle should be cleaned out at least once a week, and you will have to ensure that it is working properly every day. Luckily, this is very easy to do, just simply pass your finger over the ball in the spout, if any water comes out it is working just fine. A broken water bottle will need to be replaced immediately, as your rabbit won’t be able to drink out of it.
The bottle should be cleaned out at least once a week, and should be checked to ensure that it is working properly each day. Happily, this is extraordinarily simple to do. Just pass your finger over the ball in the spout – if any water comes out, it’s working fine. If this doesn’t happen, then the water bottle is broken and will need to be replaced immediately, as your rabbit won’t be able to drink out of it. A water bowl might be useful in the interim, until you can get a new water bottle.
