Rabbits are very clean creatures, you’ll often spot them grooming themselves and even each other. This being said, from time to time they will need a little bit of outside assistance too. Most rabbits will benefit from a good brush when they are molting. Longer haired breeds, such as Angora Rabbits, will need this attention on a more regular basis.
Rabbits need a little TLC every now and then
This section of the guide will provide you with info on how to keep your rabbits clean, from cleaning your pets feet to bathing them in an emergency. It is very important to keep an eye on the condition of your pet and its coat - if you happen to notice that your pet is having trouble keeping itself clean and in good shape, there may be an underlying condition that needs to be addressed. For example, if there is a lot of dung caught in your rabbit's fur or if they are getting bald patches, then these may be signs of an underlying illness that needs your attention. Have a look at the illness section of this guide to see if you can identify the problem, if that fails then a trip to the vets may be needed.
