We upgraded to the smart door after having just the regular Omlet door for years and are so happy! I love having the app for added safety and security when away from home! The design is even better this time around and we continue to be impressed every day at the reliability of our Omlet door even in below freezing temps and extreme weather!

I find it very convenient when I need to control the door or light by phone. With batteries, there was always a delay. With the 12V adapter there is no delay.

It's a plug. It plugs in to both an outlet and the Omlet door and supplies power. Works great!

I have switched over to the 12V Power Adapter after a battery leaked acid on the circuit board which destroyed the the key pad. This gives me peace if mind from a faulty battery failure.

I purchased the ac adaptor so I could run the door in electric however it would be nice if I could also put batteries in for it to run on in case of electric outage. Otherwise the door has been great
