IT IS GREAT
I bought this a month ago and I’m so glad I did because without it I would still be getting out of bed very, very, very early.

The only chicken door I will ever buy!
This auto door is awesome! It works exactly as described. We installed it on a metal pole barn with no issues at all. We programmed it to open and close at a certain time each day and it still has the same batteries in it that we used when we installed it last April! Their customer service is excellent and if you have questions, they always answer them quickly and with a personal touch.

Great addition
Ive been using this for a few months now and its great. Its easy to change the times setting and i know the chicken are tucked in at night. I wish i got free shipping like advertised but i guess that wasnt meant for the door with light. Also took a while to ship but i guess thats normal these days. Still i give it 5 stars overall.

Automated Freedom
Chicks complain like mad when they want to get out and Lazy Dave has lowered the grid preventing access to the run (presumably to allow for some maintenance without Truble jumping up and No5 pecking at his toes and Sterling getting under his feet) and forgotten to open it - Just like the Pre Omlet days when Lazy Dave had to get up to allow them out ! Lazy Dave thinks the door is great however could be improved by connecting to the Cloud such that confirmation that the door is Open, Closed or Blockled. Fortunately Lazy Dave has a solution for this and would love to hear from Omlet if they are interested.

Easy to fit and simple to use
Fitted our new door last weekend to a wooden coop. Took off the original wooden door and because the frame of the electric door was slightly too tall we needed to attach an extra piece of wood to the front of the coop to fix it to. This was easy to do and it now fits perfectly. I’m very pleased with it, just need to see how our new chickens take to it next week.

Works as advertised
Really happy with this product. Installed into an existing wooden coop, was quick and easy.
My only comment would be, perhaps having 2 door sizes for people with large birds like geese??

Wonderful product
Gave me the freedom I needed to enjoy my chickens even more. I am able to leave the chicks in a fenced back yard with automatic feeder and waterer for a week. I don't have to rush in the mornings to open their door or get worried about closing it at night. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Heads in, door closing!
Love the convenience!
My geriatric chook had the habit of roosting head out into the fresh air in her old pen so when I put her and the three other hens in their new MK2 cube with run and automatic door, something told me to check on the girls at dusk. Glad I did... Her neck stuck out as expected... and the door closed... but somehow wouldn't re-open, leaving the poor old chook gasping through the horizontal guillotine.
First day... so I'm not familiar with the controls and the manual is inside the house. It's dark, I'm tired and there's no one to help. I hadn't used the controls enough to be familiar with manual door opening and closing. My fingers couldn't go through the mesh to stop the door and re-open it and the old hen's noises were making me very nervous. I knew the door should open again if a chook got stuck going in or out but the neck is so thin maybe the sensor couldn't sense anything. Luckily I found a broken stick and put it through the mesh to re-open the door... When the door closed again, same scene! Poor old hen is near blind in the dark and had no idea what was happening. I now keep the stick on top of the Eglu cube as it's faster to block the door than try to read the controls on the box. After 3 nights, my geriatric finally learned that she's best to be well inside her cube.
No regrets! Like my chooks, I'm a slow but happy learner. The automatic door is part of the daily routine....
