Have had chickens for few years, never had a problem with other critters raiding their food, until a few weeks ago. I got one of these feeders, set it up, and presto, the food remains for the girls and not anyone else. If you have persistent critters, then hanging it is the best option, as there are some, as I learned, that will flip it over and move the latch to dine

I ordered the feeder to make it easier for my daily routine. It's definitely worth the money and very heavy duty. I was a little worried that it was going to be too high for my 2-months chicks and I was going to have to take the legs off but it was just the right height for them. The picture is of Diasy, my two month old Showgirl silkie.

This is such a game changer for my chickens! Every piece is so well designed and constructed. It makes filling so much easier and my chickens love it. I love that you get both types of spouts and no more algae from light leak.

With our old (pre-Omlet) chicken run we had some issues with rodents stealing the food from our flock. I had converted a treddle feeder to operate via a light activated door mechanism which helped, but our chickens dropped a lot of food on the floor around the feeder. When we saw the new smart feeder from Omlet, we just had to buy it. This is the exact feeding solution we were looking for. It combined the daylight hours feeding with a unique no-mess feeder and as a bonus WiFi connectivity to monitor feed levels. Perfect!

We have kept chickens and ducks for around 14 years now using tubs or the standard farmyard style water container. Unfortunately a fox 🦊 got in recently so we decided to just replace the flock with chickens this time around. As we no longer had to consider ducks and the chickens constantly scratch shavings in to the water supply I took the plunge and purchased this. Very impressed with the quality ( as someone who likes kitchen equipment it’s as if Joseph Joseph designed a chicken drinker- that’s a compliment!). I have only tried with the cups so far. Would recommend.

Glad I tried this. The feeder tells me every day when it opens and closes and when it's low on food, and I can see the battery status. I wish they had a smart waterer that showed when it was running low as well!

I have been using both the insulated waterer and smart feeder for a month now., THEY have made a major difference in the care and routine for the 5 girls I have. First the waterer is fantastic! They like the cups, no leaking and water stays clean and fresh. Absolutely love it, now I can tell how much water they consume by watching the level on the side. I am sure they are getting enough. NOW the smart feeder is Amazing. I use the time mode. It opens at 5:30 am and closes at 7:30 pm. I know they have food ready for them when the wake up early and aren't hungry waiting on me to get out there. Closing tight at night allows me to rest comfortably and know that no pests or rodents can steal the feed. Before I had to bring it in at night, and out at 5:30 to get food to them. My morning is much quieter and I also know they are eating, because it lets me know how full the feeder is. These are wonderful ! keep up the good work

This feeder has made life in the morning much less hectic for our household. It has eliminated the mouse problem in our coop with attached 20’ x 20’ roaming pen. The mice have completely left our adjoining vegetable garden. The chickens adapted to it quickly.
