Amazing CatDogs! - Debby,
I am owned by Henry, my 16 pound Maine Coon. Recently, in Missouri', we experienced some bad weather and a tornado touched down. We think it's path was above this trailer I live in. I was on the floor in my bathroom with my cats, when a silence came about, all cats except for my Henry, bailed under my sleigh bed. Henry and I heard a roar, he moved in close to my side and I wrapped my arms around him to keep him by me. The tornado touched down about 4 miles up the highway. Henry had no intentions of leaving my side, because when I took my arms from around him, he stayed close to me, leaned his head back and said, 'Moent'. He meows so funny and was quite talkative to me right after the storm. He was telling me all about it. I would say, 'I know, Henry.', then he would proceed to tell me again. He was my guard kitty that scary night. My town rebuilds quickly, life goes on and Henry remains the handsomest and loving of all of my cats. Henry will be 2 years old this April 15, 2025.
Love - Lisa,
I have 2 mainecoons 1 male 1 female. Brother and sister. They are the best. They are more like a dog than a cat. They greet me at the door everything I come home. They follow me around the house. They chirp and talk a lot. My husband even loves them. He gives them more attention when he gets home than he does me. Wouldn't take any amount of money for them.
The best breed - Jenn,
I absolutely adore Maine Coons and have found them to be very affectionate, friendly, playful, and vocal. They definitely underestimate their own size and try to be lap cats
