Easy to install. The chickens took to using it like....ducks to water.... Took a little bit of playing and watching to get the light sensor set to the correct setting so chickens went in before it started to close. Bought the coop light but not sure it helps as chickens are almost always in before it comes on but it is amusing to see the chickens lit up sitting on their perches getting ready for bed.

I bought this coop door and received it in Feb. I am SO happy I purchased it. I have a wooden coop and this was so easy to install. The directions are clear and simple to follow and so is programming the whole thing. It has made putting the chicks away when I am away simple and puts my mind at ease knowing they are secure. It is predator proof, too, which was important to me. I am so happy I purchased the Omlet Automatic Chicken Coop Door (& highly recommend getting it with the light!).

I have had this for 1 year now still have not replaced the batteries and it works great! I am so happy with this product that I will buy another I have one on my coup and I would like one on my run so the girls can free-range! If you haven't purchased yours yet you are missing out! This has saved me so much time and I never have to worry about forgetting to open and close my coop! It is Fantastic!!!!

It was a little tricky to fit (operator error on my part). The support was great. All in all a worthwhile buy.

Very glad we bought this door, although very expensive! The new chickens got the hand of it within 3 days with the light coming on. Just hope the battery has a long life.

When I started keeping chickens years ago I saw similar products and thought "how lazy are these people"?.... Years later after getting up at sunrise 365 days of the year and staggering in ice and snow down to the coop it turns out I am now one of those people :) My husband installed on our wooden coop no problems. There was a little learning curve with the keypad but a youtube video fixed that (we are grandparents sooooooo) My hens were very curious about this and the first night there was some discussion after it shut them in (there is a baby monitor out there so I can hear them). They love not waiting for me first thing in the morning and I love not having to tear down there at sunset to assure they are safe. Highly recommend.

This door is really well made and easy to install our chickens had not used a chicken door before but took to it quickly really happy with this door!

Just installed it and it seems to work as advertised. Set the timer and closed and opened when it's supposed to. Took a bit for the chickens to figure out it's just there and not doing anything to them.
