We live in rural NSW and foxes frequent our property. Wanting to keep chickens, we were looking for something to keep the foxes out, so we made the decision to purchase the Eglu MK2 cube with 3 mtr run. We also purchased the wheels, an extra cover and the automatic door. While assembling the Eglu cube took a while, my son and I had some fun in the process and didn't find it difficult. We've now had the unit for a few weeks and have been very pleased for a few reasons. Firstly, our chickens were quick to adopt it as their new home. We've since assembled some portable fencing around it, giving our girls extra a space to wander about in the daytime. Secondly, it really is easy to clean - just as promised in the advertising. Thirdly, the wheels really do help when transporting the cube to different sections of our property; I worried they might be a bit of a gimmick, but they do the job well. Finally, we love the automatic door. When I get up in the morning, our girls have already let themselves out and when I check on them after dark, I can see they're safely locked away from predators - with no effort on my part. One other thing to note: for the first few days, our chickens could not seem to work out how to use the steps that lead into the cube, so we were helping them in and out. We were wondering if we were going to have to create a ramp to use in lieu of the steps. But, thankfully, to our relief, on about day 5, they got the hang of the steps. I just thought I'd mention that for those who are new to using the Cube and feeling frustrated that their chickens can't seem to navigate the steps. Overall, we've been very pleased with our purchase. The attached photo was taken on the first day we introduced our chickens to their new home. Since then, it's changed location a couple of times on our property. It looks great with the portable fencing we installed. We definitely recommend the Omlet Eglu Cube to those looking for a predator resistant option; the anti-tunnel skirt definitely gives you that extra peace of mind and you'll also love the ease of cleaning and transporting it.

Hen house excellent. Run is very average. Fittings are too loose throughout the structure. The 2 part door is flimsy and loose due to design of fittings. We have resorted to using zip ties throughout structure. Clip-on feeders loosely fitted and hens can dislodge with ease from side of the run.

Love the quality of the material. very easy to clean. good height for access. chicken adapted to it within one night. Only down side if it would be better if the side of the run can add doors.

My Eglu Cube, automatic door, wheels and fencing are just amazing! It all came so well packaged with easy instructions. I put it together by myself even though I am 68! I now have a beautiful chicken coop that is a breeze to clean.The automatic door works a treat, my chickens are out in the run and happy by the time I get out of bed! The customer service provided is above and beyond. I lost some chickens to a fox so my order was prioritised resulting in decreased stress for me and safe chickens. I cannot "Thank" Omlet enough for this great product and "Wonderful service".

Forget about those wooden coops Lynsey are splinter filled and ready to be demolished by predators or wether and welcome the new omlet products! I live at 9000 feet in elevation in the mountains of Colorado! We have chickens and bunnies and multiple omlet products! We have severe weather swings from -30 to 90 and crazy aggressive sun. We also have bears and mountain lions as we live on the river and the stroll our yard on the regular! Nonetheless, it’s gorgeous and we love it and so do our animals with our omlet products!

Oh my goodness!! Where to begin? These coops and runs are genius! We have foxes, opossums, cats, hawks, and osprey in our area and I never worry with this coop and run! We just added the outdoor walk in run and WOW!! They love all of the extra space and shade since this flock is from Florida! I just love knowing that they are safe and happy. What a blessing! Thank you so much for creating these amazing coops and runs!!!

I have the Eglu Cube Large Chicken Coop and it fits my now fully grown laced Wyandottes (2), Orpingtons (2), and Barred Rock (1) just fine. My 5 hens love their coop! They happily climb the ladder and roost in there every night. A couple of them started laying this week and they are successfully using the nest box. Cleaning the coop is fast and easy since the tray and roosting bars slide right out and I can scrub and hose them down. There is a door for accessing the nest box side of the Eglu and, while there is no tray that slides out, it's easy enough to scoop out the straw and wipe down that area if needed. I haven't been through a winter with the Eglu yet, but we're coming out of a week of triple digit heat (103-108⁰F every day) and the coop is staying cool enough for the hens.

The coop and run are working great for my 4 hens. The instructions stated that it should take about three hours to assemble, but it took about twice that (a little here and there). We used a lot more zip ties to hold the run together than provided, but it seems fairly sturdy. Definitely meets the need!

I do like my Eagle cube. However I customized it to make it work for me. I have 4 hens 1 Roo. I really don't think any more would fit comfortably. I have the walk in. It is in the sun. So in the hot summer, I move the Eglu under a tree and put fencing around it for them to graze. Then I use the walk in as garden space. It is nice and fertile since they have been in there all winter, and I get surprise sunflowers that grow up from the left over feed. Now I have complete fencing around my garden, so my plants are for me to eat, not all the critters. I will move them back and hook up to the walk in , in the fall. They will clean up the garden space for me. ALSO, I removed the green litter pan from under the roosting area. I pile leaves from the woods, or straw on the ground under the roosting area. When I take out the roost to clean, I add more leaves as necessary. The chickens dig and stir it for me. Once in a while I will put a rake in there and pull it all out and leave in a pile to "season". Boom! Compost. I'm also hoping it keeps them cooler at night while they are all crammed in there on the hot southern nights. For those who have read this far. Yes there is a hole where the green tray came out. I put some hardware cloth there and kind of "sewed" it in place with some wire.

I just recently purchased this unit with the six foot run. What I like best about this unit is the ease of cleaning the tray and the interior components. I also enjoy how simple it is to move the unit around the yard. I feel I’ll continue to enjoy this unit for many years to come.
