Best coop EVER and worth every penny!!!
I can't say enough positive things about this coop! If you are on the fence, trust me and just buy it! I promise you will not regret it. What we love: 1) it's easy to clean, 2) it's safe and secure, 3) it's keeps one of our hens from sleeping in the nesting box. I'll start with how easy this thing is to clean, which was our biggest problem with our old wooden coop. We were constantly switching out nesting material or trying to clean poo off of wood shelves (which doesn't come clean). This coop is super simply. You simply empty the droppings tray and spray off the roosting bars. Boom, done! We live in the middle of the woods with a ton of predators. We love that we can lock the girls in the coop at night and not have to worry about them. Lastly, the partition door on the inside of the coop. We have one little hen who insists on trying to sleep in the nesting material each night. With our old coop, we would have to go out every night and remove her from the nest box and place her on the roosting bar. That gets old after a few months. lol. This coop is awesome! After we collect the eggs in the morning, we simply close the door. Our girl has no choice but to sleep where she's supposed to. We love it!

Skeptical to pleased
Needed a more mobile solution. I was sold this was the right way to go but not my hubby. After two weeks, he has forgotten all about the price and loves it. We do need to add one more run. Also the assembly instructions were contradicting and a real pain.

Has everything I wanted
.....but the instructions are horrible. May I suggest a rewrite (redraw) by someone who has actually built the cube? I decided we could make a drinking game out of building the cube, that you would have to take a shot every time someone said "these instructions are awful/stupid/terrible". Fortunately, we never followed through on the game or we all would have been in comas. It took many hours over several evenings but we finally did it. Thank goodness I do not plan to ever take it apart . Otherwise, the finished product looks to be promising. I have wanted to get chickens again for awhile, but the idea of a st ationary coop and having it built was less than ideal. I wanted to have free range chickens but with a level of control. The cube offers me that and low maintenance. Laying chickens will be ready for occupation in about 4 weeks. Living in Wisconsin, I did add hardware cloth to the bottom of the run to keep raccoons from being able to reach through the wire and grab a chicken by the neck. Happy with my purchase when all is said and done.

Omlet response:
Hi Patti,
Thank you for your feedback. It has been passed on to our Product Design team who will review it for improvements.
Feel free to contact us by phone or by email to provide us with further details on the specific points of the manual that you believe would benefit of a remake, as this would help us to pinpoint more exactly how we can improve it.
We would also recommend you to watch our instructions videos, they can be a great complement to the manuals. You can find them here.
Don't hesitate to contact us for any query or question.

Clemence,

We had 3 ladies in an Eglu Classic we got to new chicks and upgraded to the cube. It’s just fantastic and the girls love it and it’s so easy to keep clean. The best thing is not a red spider mite to be seen.

Why didn’t I get this for my first coop!
I love my silkies far more than I imagined. So it’s no surprise the Omlet Cube has been no different.
With my first coop I tried different kinds of bedding. The Omlet’s washable grate saved so much time cleaning and my chickens have transitioned faster than I expected.

Great product!
This is a fantastic coop! It feels really sturdy and was our first Omlet purchase. Took around 45mins for the two of us to put it together but the instructions are really clear and there’s also a video. Really recommend!

The Eglu Cubes are excellent. They are easy to assemble, easy to move, easy to clean and my chickens love it. I have had one for over a year and just added a second for my new baby chicks. They really the best way to raise chickens in an urban environment.

Bought my first Eglu Cube about 3 weeks ago. So happy with the product as are my six chickens. Really well designed and sturdy and makes cleaning and egg collection a simple process. You may say the Eglu Cube is expensive but maybe like me you will conclude that it is worth every penny. After Sales team at Eglu are also first class. many thanks. M

Seems good
So this came in a couple of weeks ago. I've got the Cube with the six foot run. I managed to put it together myself. Each box comes with a manual, one seems to cover everything while the others go into slightly more detail on the individual area that is being built.
I did need to hit a video here and there because some of the pictures aren't clear, but I managed to get it done in a day by myself. I think it was about six or seven hours.
My chicks aren't actually ready to go out yet, but I have had a few test runs.
The coop has remained dry despite some pretty terrible downpours, has withstood a bit of hail, and hasn't blown over in some pretty harsh wind.
If you're out in the country like I am I would recommend locking the back door and the door to the nesting box. I kind of wish they would use the same lift and twist mechanism they use for the door leading out into the run because I think that would help make things more secure.
I would advise getting the handles if you're planning to use this as an actual tractor. Especially if you, like myself, don't have the flattest land.
