Best chicken coop we've ever owned! My family has been raising chickens my whole life but when I moved to the city I needed something a little more compact and easily moveable. The Eglu Cube was the perfect answer! The coop and run fit easily in even a smaller backyard without looking big or unsightly while still giving the chickens plenty of room inside and outside of the coop. The coop has attached nesting boxes with an easy to open outer door making collecting eggs a breeze even with hens still inside. It also has an interior nesting box door allowing you to close off the nesting boxes if you have a stubbornly broody hen. The removable tray and rack in the roosting area make the eglu the easiest coop to clean I've ever owned! Less than 10 minutes to clean out the whole coop and only 20 to 30 minutes if also cleaning the 9ft run! And it has almost no smell even when dirty, so you dont have to worry about the neighbor's complaining. The whole thing can be moved anytime and is 100% predator proof. We have a bad raccoon problem in our neighborhood and thanks to the eglu we haven't lost a single hen. Best part is the winter cover and double wall insulation. Living in Wyoming it gets quite cold and snowy in the winter and the eglu hold up perfectly even in temperatures down to -20 F WITHOUT needing dangerous heating lamps or heaters!! This is going to be our second winter and we've had 0 problems keeping our chickens warm even through the coldest blizzards with nothing more than the eglu and winter insulating cover. It even kept our chickens safe through a bad hail storm with baseball sized hail this past spring. While we dont get too high of temperatures here in the summer the ventilation and double walls made sure our chickens were cool and comfortable all summer. We have had our Eglu Cube for a little over 2 years now in our New England suburban back yard. As a busy, working mom (who promised husband he didn't have to have any chicken keeping responsibilities ;) ) the Eglu has been a godsend. Easy maintenance, safe and sound chickens, portable for different seasonal set-ups (big temp swings in New England!). Putting it together was a bit of a feat, but it has held up perfectly. We rig it up to a larger run in the warm months, then connect it the space under our deck in the winter. A good hose down is all it needs to stay perfectly clean. Worth the investment 100%.

I have had this coop package ( 6 ft,wheels,coop )and walkin run extension for over 8 months. The assembly is not too hard but time consumming with very clear video tutorial and also manual. We had raccoons roam around our yard but they cannot do anything to our ladies. The coop protect them so well. The material of the coop is similar to little tikes plastic playhouse .... very durable and long lasting. Nicely design and practical.

My wife and I got JUST into backyard chickens. We initially had a lot of reservations and concerns given that we had no idea what we were doing. Due to our circumstances, I knew I wanted a coop that simplified the process and care for our gals. I found the Omlet Eglu Cube on my research and it was exactly what I was looking for. It does everything I need it too and more. Easy to maintain and clean, well built and sturdy, and compact making it perfect for a backyard.

We love our coop! The ease of use and ergonomic design is amazing. Clean up is a breeze! Just remove the tray and wash. I love knowing my chickens are in a safe and sanitary home. I looked at coop designs and building my own coop for months before realizing the eglu products had everything figured out for us! We live in a small city and have our chickens just a few yards from our house and our neighbors. There’s no smell, no crazy fly problems, and I can conveniently toss the chicken waste as it’s just a petite tray of wood chips and droppings. If your looking for a way to keep happy birds in a suburban environment, go with the eglu!!

We have the Eglu Cube Large Chicken Coop With 9Ft Run And Wheels. Before ordering, we were a little concerned that the actual chicken coop might be too small, but we are happy to report it is actual quite spacious. It is bigger than it looks from the videos and pictures. There is plenty of room for our five chickens, and they take up less than half of the sleeping area when they are in there. The egg laying space is large, the doors provide easy access. It is very easy to clean, the tray comes right out, and while the tray is out being cleaned and drying, you can still have the chickens in there - it does not create a gap they could escape through, or that other animals could get in through. And if they do poop while the tray is out it just goes right through to the ground. We clean it with a power spray every couple of weeks. We got the 9th/3m run, which is pretty big. It gives them lots of room to peck for food and worms, and if we do need to go away for a day and they cannot get out, we do not feel guilty leaving them in there. They have enough space to run back and forward. It takes them about a week to peck away all the grass and bugs under it, but we move it every few days anyway. The wheel kit is great (if you like moving it around, which we do). We do find it is easy to move it in one direction by yourself, with the coop at the "front". To move it the other way, you need two people. But once we figured that out, we just moved it so the coop is at the "front" and we go around the yard in circles, so you can do it very easily with one person that way. We got the perch, and the chickens are still working out how to use that. It took me about six hours to put it together (one person) but it was not difficult. The instructions are very clear. There are a couple of spots where you need to get inside it to do up some of the screws. Overall, it is very good, it feels solid and well built. We got the sun shade, and we plan to get the winter cover for it too, since it snows a little where we live. We did look at many other options, and we read a lot of reviews and talked to a lot of people before deciding on this one, and we are very happy with it, and our chickens love it.

We've had our Eglu Cube with 6' run and wheels package for just over a year now. We have added on to it with a 6x6 walk-in run, a couple of self-install run doors to make maintenance easier, and a couple of Omlet peck toys. I really appreciate the metal skirt around the bottom, which makes me feel more assured that raccoons, neighborhood cats, and other pests can't get inside the run and coop - to date we've had no issues with that at all. Maintenance on it is easy - we replace the roost bedding a couple times a week (we use coastal hay which is cheap and slides right off into our compost pile), hose off the roost tray with the hose once or twice a month, and replace the bedding in the nesting box every few weeks. The Cube took a couple of hours to assemble with the whole family (kids and all) helping out. The plastic clips were a little difficult to get the hang of at first, but once we had some practice they went together easy, and since then they've all stayed put aside from a few that broke (but Omlet sent plenty of spares). The included water and food dishes are very hardy and also easy to clean out. I'm really surprised by how well everything has held up in the punishing Florida sun, from the Cube itself to the included sun shade, and the peck toys and heavy-duty cover (purchased separately from Omlet). Usually things become quickly weathered and brittle, but these are still going strong. We really love our Cube, and our backyard flock does too.

We love our Omlet. We rescued 4 ex-battery hens and they love it too. It’s easy to clean, secure looks great in the garden. It was simple to put together and the modular nature of it means you can add to it as you want. We already have!
